Spindletop is a Banner Sponsor of the 2007 Light The Night Walk

On the evening of Sunday, October 21, 2007, the darkening autumn sky over Southern Methodist University was illuminated by the warm glow emanating from innumerable red, white, and gold balloons nodding in the soft breeze.

This was the scene of the 2007 Dallas area Light the Night Walk, a premier event of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. The shining balloons carried during the walk are significant: red balloons are carried by those who are supporting the fight against cancer, white balloons are held by those affected by cancer, and gold balloons are carried by those who have lost a loved one to cancer.

Spindletop Oil & Gas Co. is proud to be a banner sponsor of the 2007 Dallas area Light the Night Walk, and to join in the battle against cancer. Furthermore, Spindletop Oil & Gas Co. is honored to support Bob Lilly, Jr., the chairperson of the 2007 Dallas area Light the Night Walk. Bob Lilly, Jr. is CEO of Bob Lilly Professional Promotions, which has offices located at One Spindletop Centre. Several employees of Spindletop Oil & Gas Co. joined the Bob Lilly Professional Promotions team as walkers and fundraisers. Together we were able to contribute to the Light the Night Walk and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, and to aid in the fight against cancer!
